OK I'm not heartless, I know everyone likes to have lots of snow at Christmas but I did say (tongue in cheek) I was sad about not having any didn't I! : )
The cold temperatures of yesterday had me get the snow blower up from the shed because I know our green days are numbered and the white stuff will fly soon.
Let me start off by saying that all of your wonderful Christmas donations to our chosen young lady as well as three additional younger children have been "Thankfully" delivered.
Once again you have come through and we have outdone ourselves by not only providing all we asked for for our young lady, but because of your generosity we were able to include three more deserving children so we gifted each of them a completely stuffed with Christmas presents, new back pack!
These three much younger children find themselves in a homeless shelter at Christmas and honestly the adult reasons don't matter to a little face.
All they know is a confusing sadness has settled upon them but because of your help we will push those sad feelings aside for a little while on Christmas morning! : )
Reports are that on receiving her special Christmas support from our IM Christmas Team our young lady was completely overwhelmed by receiving so many of the things she actually needed, and from people she doesn't even know!
She is extremely "Thankful" to everyone and by us supporting her when she feels like the bottom has fallen out from under her, we just might have helped change another life!
So sit back and feel good about pitching in! : )
I'm hitting the bricks this morning and getting my own shopping done, after all there's not point waiting to the last minute, yahoo!
