Time To Ride

Beautiful Muskoka!
Good Tuesday morning everybody and hopefully our weatherman will get it right when he says the rain will move off now and leave us with a great long weekend ahead, yahoo!
It was quite a shock over the last few days to feel the cold again and seeing my breath was definitely not a good sign, crap!
I suppose it's time to be thinking about riding indoors so lucky for us the Mini and Monster classes will kick into gear starting next week and carry us right through to spring time.
Of course it's always better to be riding outside but we create a pretty close "second best" place for riding in these training classes so that you are not wasting your valuable time or leaving your awesome bike hanging from the ceiling in the garage all winter.
I believe our proven successful Monster classes offer all levels of riders the opportunity to become better, stronger, and more fit athletes, ready for the spring challenges ahead, seriously!
Let's face it, it's more appealing and beneficial to train with lively energized groups in the dead of winter instead of being banished to a lonely basement at home, ouch!
Next Wednesday at Oshawa Legends from 7:30-9:00 pm and next Saturday same place from 7:00-9:00 am  we'll be grinding it out to the latest tunes and watching a movie as the hours fly past, yahoo!
You are very welcome to come and join in whether you have your own bike and trainer or you would like to ride a spin bike that we can provide for you.
Don't worry at all about your riding skills because like I mentioned we have athletes of all abilities and everyone still makes it through the class.
Hope to see you there! : )

the Deerhurst Inn.
Lately I have been working on our 2012 Iron Motivation calendar just to start connecting the dots and it's pretty clear already that we are going to have another big year of traveling with our athlte's to some awesome places.
February, early March we'll be in Florida at our winter camp, yahoo!
May I will head to Texas for the Ironman in the Woodlands.
Mont Tremblant alone has us going there three times at least (June, July, August) to cover the new races and for our new Qubec Ironman training camp.
We always try to make it to Guelph, Kingston, Cobourg, Lake Placid at least twice per year, Ironman Canada in B.C., and the Muskoka 70.3 to name a few, whew!
As I see it there are plenty of good reasons once again to be at all of these events in 2012, so they are going on the calender!
Speaking of events coming up, it's time to get your tickets for the DRTC Annual Awards Banquet  slated and ready to go on Saturday November 5, 2011, yahoo!
This is our third year now and it just gets better every single time!
Hope to see you there!
Well I better get moving here, the sun is out and I feel like I haven't see it for days! : )
Have a good one and if you can help some else enjoy their day, why not make it happen!
Cheers!
